Flowmaster Series 50 SUV price?

Can anyone tell me if $89.95 for a Flowmaster Series 50 SUV (p/n 52457) from SummitRacing.com is a good price? It's $151.21 on the Flowmaster website. I haven't gotten as far as the S & H cost...

That's what I paid for it, I think overall it's an OK deal. You may find it cheaper on Ebay, but take into account shipping too and you may find they're about the same. A good muffler choice indeed.

Go to:
http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...earchtype=both

It looks like there are a variety of sizes and types of Series 40, but they look to be mostly in the same ($85) range.

I got mine put in at a muffler shop, and they charged me $90 for it. So, I would recommend just buying it locally instead of paying an extra $10 in shipping!

Sounds good but mine was $90 including the install. Went back 2 month later and had the Rez cut out and added a crome tip out to the side for $20. If you add in shiping and install you may save $ome if you go to a local shop?

flowmaster 50 SUV feedback

how do you like your flowmaster 50 SUV now that you've had it for a while?
how is the sound/resonance in the cab? any thoughts, can you compare with an 18" magnaflow? I am stuck deciding between the two,
either a flowmaster 50 SUV (2.25") or a magnaflow 18/24" (also 2.25")
the two are really close in size and I could use some advice.
many dealers say they prefer magnaflow but my mechanic advised a flowmaster 3 chamber...so I am at an impasse.
thanks!

Never had a magnaflow, so i donno. The flowmaster 50 is sweet, but, now I am used to it and probably would go with a 40

I have bought all my flowmasters on summit.... aside from the handeling charge, its the cheapest I have seen. Most the local shops dont carry flowmaster and the ones that do charge the suggested retail price.

Summit is great if you are getting multiple things to help eat the handeling charge, but still no shipping...
