Flex-a-lite fan

Just stumbled across this great site. I just got a flex-a-lite fan from my 96 4Rnr LTD. Before I install, anyone have any recommendations on locating the control box? The spots that look best to me are too far away for the temp sensor. Any thoughts from those that have already done this?

Welcome to the forums Murph!

I haven't done this mod yet myself, but I know alot of people have. UKMeyers may have the most recent install.

Tyr searching on flex a lite on even on that user name, I think you';ll find alot of useful info.

Does a flex a lite fan replace the clutch fan?

Yes Flex-a-lite replaces the clutch fan.

I put the control box down low on the driver's side frame member.
