Flabergasted....
Recently had to replace the head gasket and due to time constarints I had to have a shop do it. They replaced the O2 sensor and everything ran great for a day or two but now it is cruddy again and terrible gas milage. My questions are:
Is there more then one O2 sensor in a 95 4Runner?
Does anyone have any suggestions on why it would be running bad?

i GUESS i WILL HAVE TO GET UNDER IT AND CHECK IT OUT MYSELF <caps> I did get a check engine light on my way into work this morning, so I may have more to go on this evening. As for how it is running bad:
It idols rough and gets bad gas milage.

If you paid a shop to do the job, and they didn't do it properly, take it back and make them fix it. If you tear into it yourself, they could absolve themselves of any liability.

did you pull the codes from the comp?
if not you look under the hood you will see a small grey box by your fuses. open up the cover and
1 Turn the ing to on(engine not running)
2 you need a paper clip to bridge the 2 pins TE1 and E1(see diagram inside of grey cover)
3 then look at your check engine light and count the flashes.
quarter sec flashes indicate the number with a 1.5 sec pauses between flashes.
example 2 flashes pause 3 flashes =23
the cycle will repeat it self when all codes have been read
hope this will help you out
