Financial questions

Looking for maybe an obvious decision. What would you do?

My wife has a liver disease and was finally placed on the liver transplant list March 29th in Denver. I need to make some financial decision. We both have 4runners Hers a 99 and mine a 00. 99 has 3 yeas left on loan and mine has about 5. Traded my old '85 last summer to get it, so I still owe a lot.

Anyway, there is a fairly nice 2nd owner, all original, 85 4Runner that just came up for sale for an amount I can pay cash for. I am considering buying it and selling my 00 to get out of the payment and to prepare for the transplant costs.

What would you do? I, ultimately, will have to make the decision, but want to toss it up with you guys.

Thanks.

Exclamation

I'd focus on taking care of your family first and foremost. Trucks are material items, family is not.

That really should be a no-brainer.

Thanks. I am planning on selling my '89 too. Have had it for 15 years. I have to make some decisions on all my stuff. She was diagnosed in '92. We just thought the day would never come, it is easy to think that.
