It's going to be awfully difficult to drive unless you put all that "crap" back in.

The "crap" is back in now, I will take some pictures tomorrow when it's light again. Really I could just sit on the subwoofer box...that's not a bad idea, save some weight and make the cab a little more "roomy," hehe. I still need to do the headliner, but that's about it for the interior.

That was 6 months ago, before my dad's gf ran off with his camera. I had the memory card with a couple pics on it, but no way to put them on the computer without the camera

The lift comes next Yeah actually this summer I'm going into business doing car audio installations. I've already done 2 to my own rides, plus I hooked up my bros and my friend's new Shadow. A few more and maybe I can start charging lol

Just out of curiosity did you sound proof the doors? I bet that would really go a long way to kill road noise. I'm sure it would be a major pain but worth the effort. I suppose if yur crankin the tunes that would also kill road noise but hey ....you got skills brother! I'm sure you will do very good business. I'm jealous. Maybe one day I'll be able to have my own biz too.
Keep on truckin Gato!

The doors have 1 layer of 60 mil thick sound deadening on the outer skin, one layer of 30 mil thick on the outer skin, a partial layer on the outside of the inner skin (hehe) as I couldn't reach the whole thing due to the window crank stuff, a partial 30 mil layer on the inside inner skin, and a full layer on the back of the wood/cardboard stuff that covers the door skin, plus there's the fabric on top of it which helps deaden it a little as well. Most of the car only has 2 layers on it, though. I also have a few cans of expanding foam in there as well.

You know....If your truck ever broke you could use it as a fog-horn testing chamber.
Great work though! Thanks for the Pix.

If you get the chance, also add some 8lb carpet padding between the asphalt based sound deadener and the interior's carpet. This REALLY helps to kill high frequency road noise.

BTW - Welcome to the club of sound deadened!
