Talking Finally Getting Sliders

Tomorrow I'm finally goning to get my sliders . I had a local guy fab some up for about $200. It's taken him damn near 6 months to get around to making them and I get to go at 8am tomorrow and get them welded on. It's going to be hard to sleep tonight .
I guess I have to wash my truck now

Congratulations! I only wanted to say that you shouldn't need to wash you frame (assuming this is what you were referring to) unless it really has a lot of mud clumps on it. Otherwise, the installer should be using a grinder to get down to the metal so as to remove the paint which would take off any dirt with it.

Enjoy 'em!

Well, I was playing in the mud yesterday so there were plenty of clumps so I just blasted them off w/ my power washer. I plan to enjoy them to the fullest extent of the word

ASAP! It looks worse than it usualy is in that pic cause of how I parked in my yard, but as soon as I pull in some cash I'll be buying new springs. (My last day of high school was yesterday and I'll be getting a summer job in about a week or so)

Make sure that you post some pics after you get the sliders installed. I like to see each person's ideas when they make custome stuff. Good luck.

Man,

They look good. Now you got a body armor. Fix that sag and get some Downey HD coils and Bilstein shocks. Don't forget to add the Aisin manual locking hubs on your mod list. Your sliders look sweeeeeeet!

Thanx.
Downey's and AISIN hubs have been on my list for a long time. hopefully I can scratch them off soon.
Also on the list: Sway-a-ways (to go with the hubs and springs)
