Finally Found A Replacement Truck!

So my 1996 Standard Cab 4cyl Tacoma was bought back last July due to the frame rust issue. Since then I have been looking for 4Runners but have decided to go with another 1996 standard cab outfitted with a color matched topper, V6, manual transmission, bucket seats and CRUISE ! HAHA My question is are the springs in the V6 Standard Cabs different (stiffer or longer) than the same year 4cyl? I only ask because it seems like the V6 sits up higher even with the topper on the back and there doesn't appear to be any sort of lift and or add-a-leaf installed. Any and all info/experience would be great, Thanks!

I'm not sure on your question but post some pics of your new ride. Sounds nice!

I would be glad to but I do not know how to post pics, sorry. It seems the pic already needs to be somewhere on the net and then you just fill in the link. Is there anyway to just have the pic show up without having to click on it or is clicking on it not required once the address has been established?

Thanks, I also like the topper. It has an elevated bed and full carpet in the back already so it should be good for camping. I want to get a basket for the top of the topper and throw on my aftermarket wheels and tires from my other Taco. Then it should be done...haha yeah sure right? Oh, and the decals are coming off asap.

It is a Vista topper. I am wanting to find the manufactures website so I can order new locks or atleast the keys if possible so I can lock it up.

Is it that the back is riding higher or that the front is sagging? Looks nice - always wanted a topper on my old pickup... with a bed platform...

That is a good question. I believe the back is sitting up higher but I don't see anything that appears to be an add-a-leaf setup. The only thing I can think of is that the rear leafs have been replaced with siffer ones? I am not sure. While we are on the topic of this what would be the best way to level the front out so it sits as high as the back? I am thinking I could squeeze 32" tires under the front as well as the back if it were as high as the back. Any suggestions/opinions?
