Finally a formal greeting with pics...

Hey guys, I'm finally doing the, "Hey, I'm new, here is my runner" thing about a year to late.

Well anyways. I got my runner last year for one hell of a deal. I paid $5600 for a 97 SR5 4WD with 82,000 miles on it. I worked at a dealer at the time and someone traded it in so I sweeped it up before it went to auction. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the guy who had it before me let it sit under a tree and it had sap all over it. It must have been on there a while because it ate throught the clear coat in some places. But for the deal I got I can't complain.

Here is a list of mods so far:

Removed running boards
SR5 black fender flares
Deckplate mod
Westin bull bar
Hella 500 driving lights
265/75/16 BFG AT's
Glove box organizer
XM Sat radio
AVS in channel vent visors
35% tint on the front two windows

I have plans to get PP springs and Bilsteins or possibly an OME lift.

Here are some pics:

And finally the best mod of them all:

Sorry the pics aren't the best, but it was about to rain.

Yeah, my wife says I'm OCD, haha.

No, it's a 4WD. Don't know why it didn't come with the hitch, it came with everything else. I'll probably get one sooner or later but right know I don't have anything to tow so it can wait.

That's not a deal - that's a steal! That's an amazing buy for the condition which it's in...very sharp, very clean looking truck. If it sat for a while, you probably want to clean under the roof rail, I don't know what you call them, cross bars? There's probably a load of crap under there and paint that needs some tending to.

Welcome!

Yeah, I took them off when I bought it and cleaned under them but the roof is the worst part of my truck as far as paint goes. I spent all cleaning and detailing it after I bought it. I used a clay bar, buffed, polished and waxed the entire truck. It looked ten times better then when I bought it. I think it was a little neglected by the previous owner but there's nothing a little elbow grease can't fix.
