Finally!

Finally! People would always point out my hood shaking. When I first got my ride I even pulled over on the interstate because I thought my hood was going to fly off. I just went outside and unscrewed the black rubber stoppers in the front and now the hood doesn't shake at all. Lets see, since joining this site I have changed my spark plugs and it was easy because I found instructions on here and now I fixed the hood shake. Fixing things myself makes me feel good. Does anyone else get that feeling when they do something themselves?

I've got hood shake issues too, only at high speed high wind situations.

Did you take the spacers completely off?

Just yesterday I screwed with mine but screwed them out so the hood would make contact earlier at each side. Have yet to drive in the problem situations though. I have a hood deflector if that makes a difference.

I didn't take them all the way out. I just screwed them out a little bit. I haven't driven yet either but I cannot move my hood up and down with my hands anymore so hopefully that fixed the problem.

I did save a lot of money. A couple of months ago I was having a problem with misfires. I took it to somebody and I got charged 100.00 just to replace one plug. 60 of that was just to diagnosis the problem. When I replaced the plugs yesterday, the one that the guy replaced was not gapped. I think that was the cause of my misfire this time. We will see.
