Mine failed on me. I overheated the engine, blew a head gasket and now I get to change it. I Just got the heads out today. I'd rather be beaten about the crotch with a metal spatula by a huge monkey than ever do it again.

Fan Clutch is only about $80.00 and real easy to change.

Ditch that crap and get a Flexalite Black Magic fan. I've been happy with mine over the last 2 years.

Does it matter if the electric fan gets wet at all? It seems that anything electric would short out and if it gets wet, which it will, is that going to affetc it??

I just replaced mine on my 92 22re . It started running hot on the highways, and this solved it.
