Factory HU, LOC installed, no sound, need help???
Help!
Okay, I got it all hooked up.
Bought a LOC with adjustable levels for sub install.
System worked for 2min then no sound out of subs!!
Checked 12v fuse:good.
Checked amp fuses:good.
Amp shows power light green:good.
What do you think?
All I can think is the converter is toast. I had the levels on max.
This suc*s!!
I cant wait to get an alpine HU!!
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks!

If you have something with line outs on it, be it a CD player or VCR, take it outside and run the interconnects that go into your amps into it and see if you're getting sound at the amps. If you get sound (watch your levels on the amps) then try hooking a bare speaker to the speaker outputs before they go into your LOC. If you get sound from both tests, you know your LOC is pooched.

I think I may just buy another LOC and test. If works then i know the old one is toast. If it does not work, then it's something else and I will return to store.
Thanks for suggestions.
Anyone else have help???
