Factory fogs for 98?
I was wondering if the 98 4Runner had foglights as an option, or what? I havent seen anything for 98s, but I like them. If they dont make them (I dont really see a place for them in the bumper), do I have the option of swapping to a 99 bumper that does have the holes???

I think that they were $80ish. The guy had two auctions, i lost the first at $110 (luckly) and I won the second auction.
They are pretty good, They help light up the lower portion where the headlights miss. I do like how the install (wires, switches, etc) were made for the 4Runner and everything fits perfict.
PP sells the exact kit, both are made by hella.

I don't really have a closeup of them when they are off, but they are basically the same fit.

I have had bad expierence with autozone lights (Pilot and KC) so I stayed away from those brands. I have had good luck with Hella (I also have 500's that i need to install).

This is my second set of Pilots - my first set help up pretty well until I went though a fairly deep water crossing last winter. They filled up with water and the water froze. The housing cracked, and the reflective liner inside the lamp deteriorated. They still worked, but the light output was noticable reduced.
