Extended breathers on 01 Tacoma/2.7

On my 01 /4x4/ 2.7/ Tacoma I have extended the breather on the rear by running the hose up to the gas cap door area and placing the breather up there. Then I was going to do the transfer case but I found that it was already run up into the engine bay area on the drivers side right under the fuse box under the hood. There is two of them side by side and I know that one is the transfer case but what is the other one? It came from the factory this way and I see no need to mess with it or really take it any higher. What about the auto transmission ? Should I run that one up there too? I think the breather is on top of the tranny and will be a real bear to get too. Thanks, Mike
