Exhaust Question

Is there any difference between a 1998 2.7L Taco and a 2002 2.7L Taco's exhaust. In other words will a catalytic converter off of a 98 fit an 02?

I am not sure, but if you need a new cat, then a muffler shop should be able to weld flanges on a generic one and make it work.
