ethical dilemna (tires)

hey folks...

When I bought my 4runner a year and 10,000 miles ago, it had brand new Uniroyal Laredo's on it. They are in fabulous condition, and have served me well, but I want to get some Revo's.

I don't have the space to store "spare" tires, even if they are in great shape, and just having the weasels take them and dispose of them seems just, well... wrong.

What do you folks do with perfectly good tires that you don't want anymore??

What is the dilemma??
Just sell them. That way someone gets something they need cheaply, and you get a few bucks to offset the cost of new rubber.

Sell them puppies

I sold my old Michelins for $250 and two of them were well worn and two were pretty new, I didn't buy any of them as they came on the vehicle. Advertise locally so you don't get into the shipping issue. You should have no problem selling them.

Good luck!

Definately sell them, especially if they were on your truck when you got it. It's a profit anyway you look at it

check out discount tire company (if you have any around your area) they'll buy back tires. i don't know what kind of prices they'll offer, but it's worth checking out.

Yep, that or local sale. Your best options for sure.

When you get your new rubbers, you can just tell the shop to throw the old ones in the back, that you want to keep them, or that they are going on another vehicle of yours. But definately keep them and sell them to someone locally.
