Yes, you need to open the hood and locate the little gray cap next to the fuse box. Open it and conect a jumper wire between terminals TE1 and E1

Thanks for the quick reply.
I seem to remember a way of checking fuel trim through the diag connector with a DVOM. 2.5v being normal (14.3) /5V being rich running/0V being lean running. Anyone remember the 2 terminals I need to jump??
BTW the codes I pulled are 14 and 25. Ignition signal and lean a/f ratio.
