I just wanted to make a thread for future reference for those who get this code. I previously searched the forum for this code, and very little was found on it.

Anyways... This code is a Bank 1 sensor 2 code that refers to the O2 sensor after the cat. It is a heater circuit malfunction. Basically upon removing mine, it was shot... it had seen it's better days. It was a simple fix but an expensive O2 senosr Unfortunately the nuts were completely rusted off to the point of almost non-existance! With enough WD-40 I was able to scrape off the rotted gasket and what was left of the bolts. Picked up some new nuts from the dealer and installed the new O2 sensor. I wiped the code by disconnecting the battery cable for a few minutes, and "viola".... good as new.

The symtoms were... slight decrease in power (a little sluggish), and getting very poor gas mileage. Once the new O2 went in, it felt like a new truck again... very responsive! For those of you who's CEL comes on... don't keep resetting your computer... ignoring it will not cure it, take the nessessary steps to finding what the problem is. This site has a vast amount of information, and knowledge from the people on here so take advantage of it!
