Well, I have this problem currently, just use the search tool, there is plenty of stuff on this topic. Did the try the S-pattern turn when you tried to engage it?

Strange...
It used to work every time I pushed the button without fail. Put it in 4-low, push the button, drop it back in to drive - flash flash flash - solid light. Haven't tried the s-turn - will give it a try tomorrow. If that does work, what does that mean? Mechanical problem with the locker iteself? If it only engages during an s-turn, how much help will that be when I get stuck?? She's a pavement queen that occaisionally gets treated to some trail running - no 'wheelin', so I only use the locker when I get stuck. Works great in the snow... sorry.... it USED to work great in the snow. I'm tempted to take it to the stealer to see if they have any ideas... I can feel my wallet trembling already.

Yea, well the S turn is just an idea, I have heard from other threads here that some trucks need some movement to have the locker engaged. I know exactly what you mean about the dealer though, I think mine has a problem that I cannot fix. I hear the motor trying to engage it, but nothing happens. I think maybe I'll go over there tomorrow and see if I can get a quick diagnosis from the techies there.
