Electrical problem

Hey I have a 2nd gen pick up and every once in a while I notice my raidio cuts out when ever i press the brake or turn on my signals. And today i got out of my truck to go into the local supermarket, and when I came back my truck would not turn over/ start. It was like the clutch was not pushed in fully. So i tried again and it did the same thing. I got it going third try, but I noticed all my radio channes were erased. Almost like the battery was dissconnected. I checked the battery all the hookups were corrosin free. What coul this be. It acts almost like there is to big of a electical draw at once. I also noticed that when my hazards, signals, or brakes are pressed,my battery meter twitchs. I have a 22re. Plese help me. Sorry for jumping around so much.

Most likely it's the cable from the battery positive post to the fuse box under the hood that's giving you trouble. It's pretty common, and there are a few threads about it.

Been there, done that and fixed the problem for good!

This is a very common problem with 2nd Gen 3.0 it seems. The fix is easy and cheap. Try it out and if it works for you help spread the word - too many 2nd gen owners are suffering with this problem.
