EGR valve gaskets: 2.7L 4runner

Just replaced the mini header and wanting to clean out the egr a bit while I am there. I only took off the EGR pipe, not the valve yet.

There are three gaskets:
1.exhaust to pipe
2.pipe to EGR valve
3. EGR valve to intake

Do they use same felpro gasket(#70961)?

autozone and oreilly also have another gasket(#70410) that is weird looking, what is that for?

I need to do the same thing eventually. Can you describe anything you had to remove to get the pipe off? It looks like a really awkward job.

Its pretty simple to get off. If i remember correctly both EGR pipe gaskets are the same, but the EGR to intake gasket is different. Just order them through a dealer, much simpler and not that expensive.

As for how to get the pipe off. Theres 2 bolts that attach it to the manifold and 2 bolts that attach it to the EGR unit. Unscrew those then go behind the block and remove the bracket that holds the pipe to the block (1 bolt). They are all 10-12mm
