Question Edelbrock header questions

Hey guys I have a 98 Tacoma 3.4L V6 and I was wondering if the Edelbrock headers will fit. Their website says they are for the 95-97. What would be the difference between the 97 and the 98 and why would there be any reason the headers wouldnt fit? I would appreciate any help you guys can offer unless its a statement like "Uh im not sure, it might work"

I've got them on my 98 4Runner and they're not supposed to fit. If you have an auto the kickdown cable does not fit like it's supposed to, expecially if you have an SC. Someone else has them on their 98 4R also with a bit of a writeup, maybe mhawker, but I'm not sure. Buy factory exhaust manifold gaskets to use instead of the ones they include, I didn't but wish I had. Also you may want to strip the paint off them and paint them with high temp paint because otherwise they look rusted right away or you may want to creamic coat them. If you have any questions about the install ask away.

Summit is the cheapest place I found to buy them $340 shipped if I remember correctly. Also if you don't have an egr system you have to make your own plate to block it off or weld it shut. I chose to put a plate there and have my egt probe mounted in it.
