ebay timing kit has arrived

well if some of you don't know my water pump seized up last week it was factory with 188k ... i couldn't afford oem everything but i wanted to replace everything so i did some research and deiced to go with a kit from here bungerfeldsauto



some how i got a oem upper rad hose though but rest is some good stuff

got a home made crank pulley tool made just need a few tools and my friend to not be so busy and should be done this week

Hey, this is the same kit that showed up on my door step last week. Heck of a deal from that seller on Ebay.

na it looked great when the water pump went it melted some of the belt

Call me crazy but wouldn't it be a good idea to at least use an OEM water pump? I think that's the one thing I'd want to make sure is highest quality possible, but that's just me. I bet they're expensive!

aisin is oe... its who toyota used... Just doesn't come with the box that says toyota on it. Looks like most of the parts are oe.

its done as of 12am man im excited everything fit great so far it runs perfect only drove it a few miles though... a few notes the lower idler takes a 10mm allen and the crank pulley i had to use a puller it was stuck on good.....

Congratulations! It feels good when it fires up and purrs after surgery like that...

I was lucky, my pulley came off by hand. And now it has anti-seize on it.

How did you break the crank bolt? Starter bump or brute force? (I bumped.)

its running great no leaks no weird sounds its not the hardest job in the world just takes awhile or if your close to me ill do it for a reasonable price

o and if you dont got a torque wrench that does at least 200ft lbs borrow one or buy one

250 is more like it. (217 ft-lbs. spec on the crank bolt on my truck)
