E-Locker Factory Switch Wiring Help Needed
I bought a complete drum to drum rear which I put in last week. I also have the e-locker ecu as well as the factory switch. My problem is, that my 4runner does not have a prewired plug that goes into the e-locker factory button. What are my options! I really want to be able to use this factory button, and I don't really want to run a new wiring harness (ABS+locker). I have read in detail, many times, the sanoransteel e-locker retrofit, but that writeup had a prewired 4runner. That writeup did have a wiring schematic included, but I'm not sure how to make my factory E-locker button work. Thanks in advance!

Be nice to know where you Are??
Do you have a multimeter?? If this answer is no You are already in over your head.
Since not all of us have the elocker rears or controls handy pictures or a least a good description might help.
Should be pretty simple to figure out. Are you sure that part of the harness is not just tied up since the switch was never installed.
Most Toyota wire harnesses have the wiring for all the options except for the switches and the items they would control.
One just never knows. If it is not there you need to build your own harness for your new goodie . no other way to do it.

You can do this yourself - but check out http://www.inchwormgear.com/store/pr...products_id=36
I also believe Downey used to make cable operated pulls. Not sure if they're around.
Either way you will be wiring this yourself if you want to get it done. Not all Runners are prewired.
