Dumb Question of the Day(Searched)

I got my Tech1's today(finally) and now I need lug nuts. Nobody seemed to have a clear answer to which kind of lugs I need; tapered, conical, flat, short shank, etc. (I'm getting chrome). I know what size I need, but not the style. The sooner I get an anwer, the sooner I can get my wheels on! Thanks.

The ones I got from 4wheel parts were tapered. Not that those morons would likely send the right ones, but thats what I got.

Did you considering black lugs to go with the TECH1s?

They add the icing on the cake in my opinion.

Nutz

Rob,
The easiest way to tell is to look at the stud holes on the wheel if the holes are shaped like a crater then it's a taper/conical type.If there is no definition to the hole then it should be a shank type.
hope that helps ya out a bit.

King...I'm going w/ the chrome. Just my preference; I can always go to the black ones if I'm not happy. Wolfen...the lug holes do have a very slight taper to them. If that's the case, can I just use my stock lugs? I've heard they can't be used w/ these wheels.I'm still kinda unsure what to get. I need more input. Thanks for the replies, BTW.

It seems to me that your stock lugs should fit then.
Keep in mind I can't see your wheels and typically the wheel maker supplies the lug nuts if it requires a "special type" right.
At least in my way of thinking if ya pay good money for um they should be able to hook ya up with the nutz, small price to pay for good business right
