I BURIED my Landcruiser in something like that. Some friends and I went out to see the damage a tornado had done. While we were driving along "ooohing and aaahing" the nose dropped into one of those. Nasty stuck.

Never seen anything like that before. Is there a pool of water under there or mud or what? I couldn't see anything that really distinguished it from the surroundings. Can you see them if you're looking for them?

No that was the killer.. you would be sloshing thru the field and shrulp!! in you go... It was basicly the grass holding the water, the roots breaking free from the dirt and one big old hunk of sod floating about 6" or so above the top soil.. Wait untill you all see the one we broke open and mud pooped out like a volcano.. then we burst one that looked like a waterbed broke loose..

I forget who it was that was sitting in a chair with one leg on top of one.. but everytime he sat down the food box next to him moved...

yeah, it was just a little bit wet there. just about everything we brought down was soaked by the time we got home. made for some interesting wheeling too.

lee... you forgot to mention how you parked your pop-up in a streambed. lol.:pat: our tent wasn't in the greatest place either...

Well yea... Friday when we got back from wheeling, I had about 4-6" of standing water arounf my pop-up.. We had to hook the truck back up to it and move it about 12' closer to the road before we floated away.. But dude, we were dry for the most part... That's why I bring the camper~!
