Talking Dually Tacoma?

Hey all, I ran across this earlier today.

http://www.motorhomemagazine.com/for...g/15928529.cfm

Look to about the 3rd and 4th picture down. Kind of interesting. Wonder what kind of axle they are using?

Thought some of you might find it interesting. I sure did.

Have fun all.
Daniel

Planned stuff: Pre-runner light bar with Hella 500s, small lift
Stuff I'd do if I went crazy: SAS, 7mgte or 1UZ swap, and as much offroad goodies as $$ will allow.

Theyre most likely bolt on Dually adapters.

I had never heard of that. Do they just use spacers and longer studs? I thought maybe they had swaped in an axle from an older dually pickup.

Interesting...

Or it's a dually axle out of an earlier toyota truck. Full floater.

all it needs is some stacks, a visor, chrome cab lights, a big PA loudspeaker on top and a neon paint job...

in that case, it also needs roof clearance lights and the chrome roof mounted air horn

If I had to guess I would say Dana 70, which could have been from a duallie to begin with, just something larger, like a chevy.
The real thing to look at is the "multi-stage" lift blocks, hahaha..."ERRR...I will just stack up tube steel until it is high enough..duuuhhhh..."
