Were you trying to turn on dry pavement?

It shouldn't do that, I sometimes pop mine in 4WD on the road (straight line only) just to keep the CVs lubed and it never pulls or drags. I'm at a loss to think of what would cause it. The first thing I'd do is unlock the hubs and crawl under the truck and start tuning the CVs by hand to see if they turn freely and smooth.

Just thought of one thing that would cause that, if one tire is a different size than the others it will cause binding in 4WD.

If the gears in the front diff are a different ratio than the gears in the rear diff there will be a lot of drag in 4WD, but in 2WD it will be fine. Some history of your truck may help.

It might do that if one of your sides isn't engaged... I have done that before but I have manual hubs... Pulling to the right seems to suggest only your front left is engaged. It could be your ADD system for your front diff didn't engage your front completely

Funny you would say that, I actually had that problem when I exploded by front diff. The first replacement I bought from a wrecked T100 was actually in worse shape than my original (entire ring gear pretty much ground flat ), and then I bought a replacement from a junk yard that was supposedly 4.30, when in fact it was 4.56. This led to some major underspinning of my front tires, it looked like I was trying to brake stand I finally got a good diff (decided to just dump the ADD) and now everything is happy.

Yeah, that sucked
