Door rubber weatherstripping sagging
I posted regarding the rubber around the doors sagging on my '02 a while back. Somebody said to use Liquid Nails and then somebody else said that it was a known problem. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some 3M door gasket adhesive. It barely worked and has since failed. Does anybody know how to fix this or if this is something that I could actually claim on my warranty? The road noise is really bad when they sag below the plastic and it just isn't working when I try to fix it myself.

kiquid nails is a much stronger product than the 3m door adhesive... you might want to try that... if its boterhing you, take it into the dealer and tell them its under warranty...

I could try the Liquid Nails, but using the other stuff was such a pain in the a. . .er well it was a pain--that I might just take it to the dealer. What I'm wondering is if this actually IS covered by the warranty. It's a certified pre-owned so it's still got almost 50k left on the warranty, but I'm not sure if door gaskets are covered.

That totally sucks. Did they ever give you an answer as to why it happens? I'm even more disconcerted now to find out that you had it replaced and it STILL does it. What a crock. I'll have to see what happens.
