Donahoe's & OME's...anything else?

I recently had a CD mature and a decent portion of the proceeds went into the "4Runner fund"...

So far I've ordered some Hoe's for the front, OME 890's w/ the softer riding N86C shocks to match for the rear. Some Eagle 058 wheels, and some 265/75's on Wednesday when I get a day off to see what the tire guy has to chose from...

Am I missing anything to make all these goodies work?

Do I need the diff drop and e-brake extender if I go with 265/75's?
I'll go with the 285's when this isn't my dd anymore. Hopefully thats about the time I wear out the 265's...

tire size has nothing to do with it. If you are lifting 1.5" and above, go with a diff drop. The ebrake extension will be needed for the 890s. also some extended bumpstops

Thanks for the help! Where can I get those items at the best price? Or at least from the same place so I only have to pay for shipping once.

I don't run a diff drop either, but the 881's don't give me as much lift as you'd get from the coilovers either (assuming you're going to crank them up until it sits fairly level with the 890s in the rear). In your case I would definately run one though since they are alot cheaper ($25-50) than new CVs. I didn't run a brake line extender with my 890s on road but I never flexed my truck either so I'm not sure if that would be required or not. Ask Schaeffer on that one. I would also suggest getting an adjustable/extended panhard bar from Steve for the rear when using those 890s.

I'm going to be ordering the adjustable track bar and extended brake line. I haven't made up my mind on the bumpstops or dif drop yet...
Any other suggestions for ways to improve my on or off road performance?
Thanks for all your help, I can't wait to get this growing pile of parts at my house actually on the runner

I dont see why they wouldnt fit so long as he got the right size. 6 on 5.5 16x8 or whatever width he wanted.

I had some 058's on my Tacoma and they fit fine. I got the 16x8 with proper bs and bolt pattern. Will make sure they clear the calipers before I mount tires though just to be safe.
Thanks for the heads up

I got on Steves site and he has a e-brake cable bracket and extended rear brake lines. Which of these do I need?

Also, my runner has 155k... I was planning on doing the brakes while I have everything apart in the front and back, is there anything else that would be worth replacing?

you need the ebrake cable bracket relocater. Not sure if you need extended brake lines, i didnt do it and Im doing alright

if you are doing brakes, mind as well do new rotors and drums...or get them turned.

I have the brembo front rotors and love them.

Ya, I was planning on replacing the rotors & pads. I need to do the rear, but I've never done drums...

Where did you get your Brembo's? How much?

I need to upgrade my brakes I think. Around here the roads are curvy with hills, and then curvier with small mountains... After a while if I'm driving very hard I start to get a pretty decent fade going on. Maybe something slotted and/or drilled would dissipate the heat?

I really hope you're wrong, but if memory serves me correct the ones I had on my Tacoma just barely cleared the calipers...and yes, my 4runner has the larger brake option...
If they don't fit they do have the same lug pattern as a full size Chevy so I shouldn't have any trouble getting rid of them.
So, what will clear those calipers? I had also been looking at the ones that Wheelers has for our vehicles.

Donahoe's are a great choice, I love mine. I would definitely buy the diff drop, It's cheap, takes about 15 minutes to put in. Go 285 also, I got 265s and I wish i had gone bigger.
