Does this runner look familiar?
I was checking ebay for bug deflectors and came across this.

The truck looks like Jason B's but the email address doesnt seem to match. I could be way off but it looks just like the truck on his site.

I think someone stole Jasons pic since he lives in PA. It happened to me awhile back. I copyrighted my pics from my site with Ebay. If anyone uses my pics they get booted from Ebay.

Yes, that IS my truck!
Why do people do this. He isn't even selling the correct item, which is misleading. My truck has a EGR carbon fiber guard which is TOTALLY different than the Toyota OEM one he is selling! Someone is going to be mad.

...not only that, he says its for 1995 - 2002. a more accurate description would be 96- 2002. What a doorknob.
Anyone else going to email both the seller and the potential buyer?
edit: here's the email I wrote to her:
Dear Annaeb2002,
I'd like to let you know that you are using an image of my good friend Jason's 4runner. Worse yet, you claim that "YOU CAN SEE IT ON MY 4RUNNER BELOW". You're a fraud and you bet I'm going to email each and every bidder on your auction until you:
1) change the description
2) change the picture

That is why I had to ask. This person is selling a misrepresented bug deflector off of a truck he/she does not even own. I would hate to be the bidder. Of course if I wasnt a member of this forum I could have been the bidder. :pat:

dang, beware the wrath of yotatech. i saw this thead on 4x4 wire, and it looks like a bunch of people let her know what's up. don't think she'll be making that mistake again.

Funny too...I called her out on her statement that she claimed that it wasn't her rig in e-mail, just like in Bob's post above....she wasn't too happy about that. So then she writes back, "so what anyway, the pic's not copyrighted, blah blah blah, along with a few f-bombs in there for good measure.
I left it with "you're now being watched by an entire community of 4Runner owners. Good luck selling anything Toyota-related on ebay again."
