does a lift fix the sag?

ok so im really getting tired of my rear sag. i would like to get rid of it, but im hoping to get a 3 or 4" lift near the end of spring or early summer. my question is that if i get a lift, would it fix the sag? because i don't want to fix the sag and then get a lift that would fix it. anybody? thanks
KEVIN

A lift will fix the sag, unless the sag is caused by rotted body mounts. So inspect the mounts. If they are good, then just wait and get the lift.

Saggy rear???

I had the same problem with my 'runner. I bought rear coil spring spacers on-line for about 80 bucks and it fixed the problem. It took about 1 hour to install. Kind of a pain since numerous torsion bars and suspension had to be unbolted, but a cheap quick fix!! I think they were called pro-comp or something of the sort. It has been a while. Good luck...and one more thing, leave the current spacer on, it is a 1/2 thick ring around the bump stop above the spring. This will lift the rear about 1 1/2 inches if you buy the 1 1/4 inch spacer.

Since this thread is about lifts...

And sorry to take over but what is the best body lift for a '95 Runner? I went on 4wheelparts.com and saw a couple made my Performance Accessories but *I* had never heard of them before but I am a nOOb to the lifting business...any recommendations on brands and places to buy them?

Thanks guys!

Look up user 4Crawler on the board here.
He sells and makes the best body lifts period.

Many forums have members who swear by his body lifts.
He has detailed info on his website, and also you can find info here by doing a here for body lifts.
