DIY inside bike rack

Just thought I would put up a quick picture of my cheap and easy bike stand.
Had some plywood laying around, traced the carpet on it for the shape and covered it with some speaker box material I had around. There are two slots cut for the tie down hooks, I put small pins through these to hold it all in place. The fork mounts were $14 each off ebay. Now when I carry bikes I don't have to worry about anything bumping or shifting.

Looks good. Do you have to lower your seat when you put it in? I did the same thing when I had a Taco with a topper. It was a PITA to put my road bike in because it doesn't have a QR seatpost.

Thanks, yes my mtb has an adjustable seat post. For my roadbike I have to bring an Allen wrench.
