Disabling rear window function on 03 4runner keyless entry
Besides going to the dealer, does anyone know how to disable the rear window control on the keyless entry for a 2003 Toyota 4runner? Its so easy to accidentally press this thing and then have your window down.
Thanks,
David

No clue... and good luck with the dealer. Mine regards all programming for a '03 as a state secret, they won't even tell me how things are done and in some (most) cases they don't know themselves and need to fax Toyota, they aren't willing to do this unless they are getting paid. This have been my experience at least.
I think 99% of the stuff is changed via computer code.

Not sure exactly how to do that. Don't even think it's in the manual but I can check it over the weekend.
As for another suggestion: try removing the remote cover and then disconnect the button tab that triggers the button... if you're electronics savvy that should do the trick...
As for me, I've yet to accidentally open the rear window like that so I guess i'm one lucky sob.. hehe
