Dirt is Good!
You know what i noticed about my 91 yota pickup? ... everytime i take my yota wheeling, it drives better after.
for the past few weeks, ive been having trouble shifting. esp 5th to 4th and from neutral to 1st. I went wheeling this past weekend and now my p/u drives awesome! the tranny is shifting so NICe and SMOOTH! so cooL! ive noticed this before. the same thing always happens after i go wheeling. if i dont wheel for a while, it starts to act up again!
my yota was made for the dirt. it likes to become "one" with itself from time to time.

Yup, my 4runner heals itself. I used to have a cooling leak, but not anymore. Lots of other little things too. My friend's honda passport does the same thing, but to a greater degree.
We think there's a "conservation of breakage" law though. That means that when a part on our trucks heals itself then that same part on some other truck in the world breaks. That explains what Adam goes through.

My rig runs better (accelerates, shifts, etc.) when it's nice and shiny clean. It rides better/smoother after a good wheeling workout. Spend a weekend wheeling then go home and wash my rig and if feels like new.
