Is there a diffrence in the 98 and the 99 tacoma models? I have been looking at aftermarket stuff on the web and some say 95 through 2000 and others say 99-00. I have a 98 limited. Is the intake the same, eng. 3.4? thanks for your time

I think this is how it goes...
1st Gen = 95.5 through 97
2nd Gen = 98 through 00
3rd Gen = 01 through 04 (I'm not 100% certain on this one)
So, yes, 98 and 99 were very simlar.
