Dilemma mounting lights
I have a pair of PIAA 80 Racing lights. These are great lights. They used to be on my '93 4runner, which I rolled and totalled (another story), but the lights were unscathed and were scavenged and tucked away. Now I have a '98 4runner and we are planning an epic coast-to-coast-and-back road trip and I would love to mount those lights. Before I had them mounted on a Downey Off-Road Mfg.'s Pre-runner style grille guard, very minimalist and well-designed. They also, at the time, had a model for the '96-'02 4runner, but, alas, no more.
The ONLY thing I can find that fits this year that will hold these lights is the Manik "Front Bar" #923450. It's a nice bar, popular back then, but much more weight and stuff than I need. I just want something to hold a couple of lights and provide a little protection to the lights.
Anyone have any ideas?
I might be willing to pay a fabricator, if he's in Northern California, and if he has a track record with stuff like this. It also has to be done inside a month. We're leaving June 18!

Won't work with these lights because of a very deep reflector. Plus I would like to incorporate a little protection for the lights. Even if it's just a single hoop above the lights that protrudes slightly farther than the lights.
