Diff Drop for a 2WD 1996 4Runner

To anyone that can provide advice on this issue/manner, is a diff drop applicable on a 1996 2WD Toyota 4Runner? If so, any advice on which kit is best? Thanks!

You dont have a front diff. No need for the front diff drop.

How would I ease the stress on the ball joints? Spacers?

If you don't have a lift I wouldn't worry about it. Also, of all these people putting reasonable lifts on their 3rd Gens, I can't recall any concern about stress on ball joints. Do you think you have a reason to be worried about the ball joints?

it's the CV joints that the diff-drop helps, not the ball joints. You dont have CV's or a diff...
