Did anybody install Auto-Start on the 2004 4Runner?
I'd like to ask the friends from forum here about the Auto-Start. I brought a 2004 SE V8 4Runner back in April and winter is coming soon here in NY. I am thinking to install a auto-start. One of my co-worker stated that I shouldn't do it because the new 4Runner all equiped with one-start ignition So can anyone help

I haven't installed one on a 2004 4Runner but I've installed about 20 of them. WHat's a "one-start ignition"?

They can do remote start, they bypass the transponder key, actually I think they have to hide the chip somewhere under the dash in order for the remote start to actually work, so you kinda defeat the purpose of the chip in the key.
Do a search on clublexus.com several GX owners have installed remote starts
