Deckplate mod vs K&N FIPK
Anyone know if there is any performance differences or differences at all besides that the FIPK is priced around $250, and the Deckplate mod is pretty much free?
I've got a K&N FIPK ready to be installed, but, Im thinking about just selling it and performing the Deckplate Mod instead.
What do you guys think?

I've heard they are pretty much identical (7-8whp gain) and the deckplate mod comes in at about a bit over $200 cheaper and if you add a K&N or an Amsoil filter you still have over $150 in your pocket. The K&N is showy but it doesn't improve on the deckplate mod.
