Deckplate & ISR completed yesterday

With the help and company of some members of yt, we got these done on my truck as well as my amp and sub hooked up to my new head unit... The intake mods ROCK.. 1st and 2nd gear above 3k are just...wow... its like a different truck.. FWIW i also have a 14" magnaflow installed with a short tailpipe.. I highly recommend this combo to anyone wanting a nice sound and actually noticible increase in pick-up.. next gas tank thats not biased from offroading I'll post back and let you know what mileage Im getting..I have a feeling it will be mysteriously worse due to all the high rpm driving I like doing now

In short, Ive spent more than I should have on this truck since I bought it a few weeks ago..but I LOVE IT and couldnt be more proud to drive it... So its money well spent in my book

Sounds good!

Do you get any whistling noises coming from your intake now? I didn't notice it at first, but, when Im cruising on the hiway I get a whistle now. Its not bad...

I have the ISR, deckplate and flowmaster with just a turndown and the sound is pretty cool. !

I do too with my k&n aircharger ... but man oh man, Matt, riding in there today (and hearing it from outside) it sounded SWEET. like someone hand-knitted it, using grass and mud!

i always wondered if you could cut the hole a certain shape to make it REALLY whistle... i wouldnt ever keep it like that, but it'd be an interesting experiment...

the "whine" you're talking about is the same as the "whistle" ...
