decision...05 Sport..but I DONT WANT LEATHER
I am a few days away from buying a new 05 4Runner (silver sport 4x4)..but I really wanted the dark charcoal cloth...the ONLY one they can find me already had leather put in it at the port
What are my chances of finding someone to swap the stone leather for their dark charcoal cloth??? other than it having leather...the car is EXACTLY what i want!!

I would do it if you were around Los Angeles. I'm sure that's an easy trade- you won't have to worry I'm sure tons of owners around you would gladly swap!
Personally, leather/SE sounds like an ideal combo. I say get it and 100% guarantee you will find someone to swap.

why don't you want leather? yeah, it can be hotter in the summer and colder in the winter (but not with seat warmers, don't know if you have those on the one you're getting). it's also easier to clean, especially if you have a dog.

You're in the Southeast Toyota Region, one of two Independent Distributorships in the US. You have four choices: Don't buy, buy and swap, go out of area to get what you want from a factory distributorship, or what you might try is to demand the truck you want. The dealership can skip any and all port installed options, including the dreaded ToyoGuard, by placing an order prior to monthly production order and allocation. Your distributor must by law comply. They signed a consent decree for this exact situation. Become a squeaky wheel or go to the next closest dealer. It can be done. You might have to wait a month if you buy in your region, or sooner by going out of area.

Thanks for the info....I'm not in any hurry and dont mind waiting should I choose to pass up this offer. ($33k for loaded 05 Sport V8 4X4....brand new)
For some reason with leather, I feel like i'm sitting 'on top of the leather'...and with cloth I feel like i'm on a couch...all comfy, soft, and warm
Plus things can mark leather that arent as easily seen on cloth...if you tear leather or scratch it good...there nuthing u can do about it....
My Supra has leather and its ok...but I just like cloth better, like my current 4Runner
