Cylinder numbers on 3VZE

Well, I need some help. I don't know which cylinder is which on the truck. The distributor cap is numbered, so I know which one it is at the distributor, but don't know which cylinder is which. Could someone shed some light? Thanks!

Toyota numbers front to back along the crankshaft, just like Chevrolet. If you look at the two heads, you will see that the one on the driver's side is slightly forward of the one on the passenger side. That frontmost cylinder is #1, the rest of the driver's side cylinders are #3 & #5. Passenger side front to back is #2, #4, & #6.

I hate to say this, but you have it backwards The PASSENGER SIDE is 1-3-5 front to back.. the DRIVER SIDE is 2-4-6 front to back.. assuming driver is on the left side for US configuration. I just confirmed it with my Toyota service manual... I did my spark plugs recently as well.

Thanks guys. Ya, I agree, i think you're backwards, b/c the odd numbers are on the front side of the distributor, and the even's are on the back side, closer to the driver's side cylinders.

Thanks for the help guys.

Oops. Been a long time since I've seen one actually. I did get the general numbering pattern (front to back along the crankshaft) right though, right?
