I got one for $75 (plus tax) from Checker, WITH lifetime free replacement. I already broke one, and they replaced it for freeeee

Not that I mean to brag or anything...

hey lee!

i may have to get you to order me up a couple, that price is killer! i have relatives in the boston area so a road trip to p/u the cv shafts would do double duty.

they are the same, talked with the stealer the other day. i broke the pass side outer joint wheeling last weekend and have been scouting around for replacemens. ill be rebuilding the drivers side as a trail spare and replacing both shafts. going to be a bit of work involved as im planning on swapping out the bushings for bearings at the same time.

what brand of shafts are they? thats a pretty good price and michigan is a lot closer than boston! sorry lee!

Try www.rockauto.com for your automotive needs.

I think that a CV from them is like $60 or less.

www.rockauto.com still has you beat by $10 and I think that they've got a warrantee, too.

this place guarantees all their parts and theyre a great team of guys.

Lee is all about wheeling now.. bon voyage~! only thing i worry about is your color...black is going to be hard to hide scratches and pinstripes from wheeling..

For your older ifs the boot kit from toyota (trdparts4u.com) is about $25 and it will fix both boots. I'd assume the price for the 3rd gens is about the same.

Don't think it's likely you can get a CV axles with a greater working angle, unless maybe some hardcore racing part. There's a limit to what the design can take (look how far they flex when you turn all the way.)

I bought lifetime replacements (axles with boots already lubed and ready to bolt in) at Carquest for $66 each. The lifetime replacement even covers just the boots.
