CV/Half Shaft replacement 01 Taco
Getting ready to do the axles on the 01 taco. No lift, standard suspension, one of the boots is ripped.. I will probably do the steering bushing at the same time since it has been sitting in a box waiting for several months.
I am planning on going with NAPA or Autozone unless someone can convince me otherwise based on price/quality. OEM seems to be put me in a position of either buying the part or paying the mortgage.
Any write-ups or things I need to be aware of? I know on other vehicles it has been a pain to get the axle to release from the tranny, any hints on that or is it not as big an issue with the taco?
'Un fortunatley my lift is a drive on, so I will be working from the floor.

I got mine from Napa. I didn't even have to take in my old ones, and the lifetime warranty applies even in moderate offroading conditions. They are built solidly and only $78.99.
