Cut back muffler, Bad idea?
Hey guys tonight I decided to trim back my "ricer" pipe off that the PO put on it. After I trimmed it back I started the truck 1. to admire the new tone and 2. To look for any side effects.... Well after I started it and let it idle for a couple min. I noticed that a lot of condensation was building up under the truck and as you can see in the pictures was causing water to start to drip from my hitch. Do you thing this added moisture is going to have negative effects? Thanks guys!

notice water on the ground...
Thanks for looking guys!

Ok, thanks guys. I was just thinking the wiring and stuff over time could get "weathered" quicker but i won't worry about it. I can relax now.

OH CRAP water from the muffler, you blew something...................... J/K its all fine as long as its not blowing directly on your spare..... even then it would only hurt it if you were like a cop and just sat around eating doughnuts and drinking coffee with your engine running...

Mines cut off back to the cat. No way am I putting a muffler back on it. Mufflers are a TOTAL waste o' money IMO. I get WAY better performance, mpg/hp, without one. Sounds WICKED badass too!

Think of it this way the only time you will get water build up is when not moving.
I cut mine back same way but I had boogered up the end.....backed up over a loose stump at Deer camp in a little over 18" of snow. Pinched almost shut. Broke out the sawsall and made it a shorty. No ill affects and its been close to 5 months.
