Custom Cat backs on 4th gen V8's ?
Could I be any more specific
I went to a very well respected local shop last night and discussed having a custom cat back
for my 03 V8.
Requirements were
* Must be completely removable at stock flanges for easy return to stock.
* Must NOT be boomy at highway speeds
* Single pipe back from muffler
* 2 1/2 "
* Nice custom look oval tail pipe or even twin squares like the Magnaflow PP system
He quoted me $250 including tax.
Anyone done this, had problems with boominess or excessive noise ?
What muffler did you use...
I suggested Deltaflow 50 and he said too boomy...he liked the magnaflow universal series better for my ap.
Anyone have any experiences to help ???
