Current '88 4Runner owner, new '99 4Runner owner

Hey everyone.. I'm happy to say that I just picked up a 1999 Black 4Runner SR5 today. I'll be hitting up this site like I did when I got my '88 last year to learn more about the '99. My first and foremost question I have is 'Where is the mod for the E-Locker???' I found it months ago, but lost it. Now I thought it was the Blue wire that I get to mess with, but I saw mention of a gray (I think) wire?? Can someone point me in the right direction regarding this mod and are there different steps pertaining what kind of 4Runner I have?

Many thanks, and so far, I LOVE THIS RUNNER!!!!!

Oh... and as for power.... hehhehehe Well, we just had a light snow storm today so the roads are slicker then snot. How stupid would I feel having a truck for an hour and putting it in the ditch already! LOL

But lets just say, I'm very happy with how it feels power wise. I'll tell you more after the weekend. What I noticed the most was how smooth and QUIET it was!!! LOL Makes my 88 feel like a tank!

BTW, I'll be having my 88 up for sale here any second. I'll post pics and things of it here and also a few other places. Hell, while I'm at it, I'm selling a 2000 Dodge Intrepid as well!

It wont be till tomorrow (Saturday) till I get some decent pics, but here are a couple quick ones. The flash sure made the wheelwells look trashed, but they aren't. Only "damage" I can find is the back bumper. The plastic that's on the top of the bumper: the edges are begining to break off and there are several small dents in it. One rub mark on the driverside of the bumper as well. Other then that only one small car door ding on the drivers door. Owner by an older lady who traded it in for a Subaru.

Looks like I'll have to contribute some to get larger pics up here. No biggy, I'll be happy to. I'll have better pics up tomorrow.

LOL There are a few 1 gens around here that are hurting!!!! I know of one maybe two that are in better condition then mine (one is a perfect condition white one that I drool over each time I see it. Has a San Diego Off Road sticker in the back window so it's most likely a lower 48 rig.) But most you look at and wonder how the backend stays attached. I was lucky. Mine has had any rust cut out and new metal welded back in. Only thing that wasn't fixed was the tailgate.

Last night the thought crossed my mind of keeping my 88 and just selling my Intrepid. I'm going to hate to let it go. I love it and it's perfect for up here. But I want to get into a house next summer \ fall so I better let it go.....
