OK, I’ve taken care of my valve cover gaskets, it’s time for my next project. Before I ponder going from 31s to 32s I want to get rid of the rear end sag on my 2nd gen. I figure it needs to come up roughly 2 and a half inches. I do not want to make the ride overly stiff – it’s okay the way it is. On other threads it seems the best method may be to replace my stock 4Runner coil springs with new Land Cruiser coils. Does everyone agree? And if so, should I specify a certain year Cruiser, and where is the best place to buy them, stealership or elsewhere?

Cruiser coils without anything up front will make it look like a NHRA funny car. Search next time.

If you just want to cure the sag go with downey coils. Also, you don't need any lift to fit 32s.

I did search and the Cruiser coils came up several times. And they were suggested to me on another thread here, so I figured that they would be the simplest fix. Guess I figured wrong. I'll look into it further.

One thing I haven't been able to get a clear answer on is if you're supposed to use the front or rear coils of the LC. I've seen people mention both and both for sale, it would make more sense to use the rears, but I could be wrong.

Hello did you install the rear coils? I'm looking for the part number and also will be great to know if you put spacers on the front?

I thought you wanted to use either the short side or the long side, since they are different between the driver's and passenger's side
