cruise control not working

cruise control not working
The cc indicator light comes on but my accelerator will not set....is there a fuse or relay I should try replacing first?

i have the same problem did u find out anything on how to fix it...mine is a 97 4x4 4runner 5speed...and my cruise is doing the same....i thought the brake light might b out or something else...just quit!!!please help
