Corns/T-bar crank...same effect?

After installing HD OME coils in the rear to replace the sagging OEM coils, the rear is slightly higher than the front. I hear all this talk about cornfed spacers for the front but never really took the time to find out what they did. And I know if I crank the t-bars, it will give me that lift i need in the front, sacrificing a softer ride. So the question is...do the spacers and cranking the torsion bars give the same effect? Which is better to do, seeing as how the front needs to come up about an inch.

Cornbred spacers only work on 1996 and newer 4Runners. They are like more or less like cranking your t-bars.

If you measure from the top of your wheel (not tire) to the top of the fender you'll probably find that they are around 14-14.25". I cranked mine to 14.75" after replacing my rear springs and it still rides very good. Make sure you put manual hubs if you are going to go over 14.5" as that is a severe CV angle with ADD.
